Doug Ford is making families pay for his shiny slogan signs but won’t tell us how much: NDP

QUEEN’S PARK—For the second day in a row, Doug Ford’s Conservatives refused to reveal just how much Ontarians will pay for Ford’s shiny roads signs at the Canada U.S. border. NDP International Trade critic Taras Natyshak released the following statement:

“Again today, Doug Ford refuses to tell the people how much his ridiculous highway signs will cost. This shouldn’t be a difficult question. We already know he’s paying his political pal Ian Todd a cool $350,000 to sit at a desk in Washington and gifted his family lawyer Gavin Tighe a sweet $667,000 contract, along with a million-dollar deal for his political backer Reuben Devlin. People simply want to know how much more of their money Ford’s going to waste on his gravy train of handouts and pet projects. Meanwhile, Ford is literally undermining trade and investment in Ontario and skipping important trade summits.”
